For the better part of the last 18 months, Vinny Prestia, owner of ADR Events, has been the lead MC for almost all of Enjay's events. From the beginning, there was an instant connection not only performance wise, but outside of work as well. Clients, banquet managers, and guests were instantly drawn to his personality. We shared the same thoughts as to what makes a party unforgettable, from the layout of the setups, to the techniques we use that keep dance floors rocking.
During the same time, Vinny has used me as the lead DJ for ADR Events. The events we do together are the most fun, easy, gigs I have ever worked. Not easy because of the simplicity of the events, but easy because it's literally like I'm working with a clone of myself. With the success that we've shared, the question had to be asked; when do we just work together as one company?
Over a number of conversations, we came to the conclusion that it would be best if each company keep its own entity. Vinny, his brother Nick (who will be involved with the production aspect of both companies), and myself all discussed that each entity should focus on a different market. We agreed that Enjay Entertainment will exclusively handle all Sweet 16 and Mitzvah's, while ADR Events will act as the Wedding division and also handle Corporate and Fashion Events.
For all clients who have already booked with us, don't worry nothing changes. In the future, any wedding client who contacts us will be directed to ADR. You'll still be working with me, we'll still be planning together, and it's essentially business as usual. The necessary changes will be made to our websites and social media so clients can find the correct info as easy as possible.
